The Observation Deck at Independence Grove is located
at the Southeast end of the lake, adjacent to the beautiful
swimming beach. It overlooks the Marina to the West and
the Visitors Center/Audubon Hall to the East. Looking
over the side of the deck into the spring-fed lake, one can
usually see a sampling of the many small and large fish
that cohabitate in the water.
The Observation Deck may be utilized for company
outings, cocktail events, cocktails before an event at
Audubon Hall or wedding ceremonies. It can accommodate
40-60 seated, 80-120 for a cocktail event and 100-180
(some seated) for a wedding ceremony.
The Deck may be set up for a quiet and/or simple event
(i.e. meeting, lunch, wedding ceremony), or it can be
transformed into a Caribbean Party with a colorful tropical
buffet, a steel drum band and a group of guests ready to
sip piņa coladas.
